How it works
About me
Coaching journey has been anything but linear.
I didn’t grow up obsessed with training. In fact, I was the guy who dreaded team workouts and didn’t yet understand what discipline really meant. Baseball was my world—but training wasn’t part of the picture.
When baseball ended, I took a completely different path. With a biology degree in hand, I became a marine mammal trainer (yes, seriously 🐬). During this time I found Olympic weightlifting and became obsessed with what the human body is capable of when training is intentional, proven, and disciplined. That passion pulled me into college athletics, where I spent eight years developing student-athletes, learning the craft, and becoming the coach I wish I had as an athlete.
When I wasn’t coaching, I was outside. My training fueled my adventures—and my adventures tested my training. Over time, those two worlds became inseparable.
Today, I’m an NFL off-season performance coach, and I also help everyday dads train like athletes—strong, fast, capable, and ready for whatever life throws at them.
Wild Edge was built from all of these moments.
The discipline learned late.
The love of competition rediscovered.
The outdoors that keep us wild.
